The Tankfreund.
Misfuelling protection for cars and vans.
A robust tab above the fuel cap that has to be lifted to refuel. Universal fit, fitted in 2 minutes, made in Germany.
How the Tankfreund works
Impossible to miss
The Tankfreund hangs above the fuel cap. Whoever wants to refuel has to touch it.
Lift it and pay attention
Lifting it breaks the driver's routine and draws their attention to the fuel.
Compare
When refuelling, the fuel name is right next to the nozzle. Reaching for the wrong one stands out immediately.
